Trying to make the most of my first day I thought I would play in the sand for a bit. Whats really weird here is how...cubey everything is. After a few seconds digging I found I'd actually dug a pretty deep hole, something caused me to keep digging, it was kind of impulsive...great fun though, playing in sand, innit? Well I went so far down I reached concrete. I started to panic as I realised I hadnt thought about getting back up. I knocked against the concrete to try and attract help but it simply crumbled away. My hands hurt after a while and I could see that night had set in. It's alright though, I was still having fun. I found I could re-lay the sand under my feet to head towards the top, it was strange the way it placed itself in block form but it did the trick. As I approached the surface I heard noises. Un-natural noises. It sounded like a wild animal was outside my hole. I froze with fear, it must have known I was down there and was soon joined by a different sounding growl, one that sounded more human.
After what seemed like an age, the sun started to come up again. Had I been in the hole all night? I barely had time to ponder this before something jumped into the hole. I barely had time to make it what it was, it looked human for sure but within moments I was killed.
Thats right, I was killed! I'm sure of it! But now I stand back here on the surface. It's day time and I'm alive again it would seem. What's going on here? Is this the afterlife? What was that creature!? I'm terrified.
Still I'll try and have fun today though cause it's my holiday!
